Glenn Epps of learned of Antonio Alessi’s Popup Food Drive Eagle Scout Project through a Facebook post Nazareth Mayor Lance Colondo made after serving as a dignitary for Antonio’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor. The event was held on December 3, 2022 at Drystone United Church of Christ – the sponsor organization for Antonio’s Troop 76 – in recognization of Antonio’s rare achievement and service to the community. Glenn was impressed with Antonio and wanted to write about the achievements: the innovative project and attaining Eagle Scout.

Antonio commented that “I didn’t expect the first interview back in January 2022 and I was really surprised when Mr. Epps contacted me. Like before, I’m really happy to have another opportunity to continue to spread the word about Popup Food Drive and the project’s beneficiary, the Nazareth Area Food Bank. Multiple people saw the article and asked me about the program, which is great!”

Like before, as a result of the article people are asking about starting food drive. It’s easy to start a Popup Food Drive event.

The interview was published on December 15th, 2022 on the LehighValleyLive.com website.
